 John R Fitzgerald, BComm, CA
John qualified as a CA with KPMG in 1989 and has 20 years of financial
experience across a number of industries, including manufacturing, mining
and metals marketing, telecommunications and financial services. He has
acted internationally as Controller, Treasurer or CFO for companies ranging
from start-up enterprises to multi-national. His broad base of knowledge
provides a great base for analysing and advising most business owners. He
has been providing advice to clients for 7 years now and is looking forward
to working with you for many more.
Originating from England, John finished his schooling on the North Shore and
got his BComm from UBC. He has provided volunteer time within the community,
currently as Vice President for the Deep Cove Rowing Club and has been
involved on several levels with a local theatre group. He has previously
been a mentor to management teams for start-up enterprises in the Telus BC
New Ventures competition, a scout leader and treasurer for a local
elementary school PAC.
 Matthew Jacquet
Matthew started his accounting career with Peter Isaac & Associates in 2008
and transitioned over to Fitzgerald Financial Consulting at the start of
this year. He is currently pursuing his training in the CGA program.
Matthew grew up on Bowen Island and studied accounting at Vancouver
Community College. Matthew received an Accounting Certificate, Financial
Management Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Information
Technologies.
Tish Thibault, B.A.
Tish joined the team at Fitzgerald Financial Consulting in October 2009.
She moved over to manage the office from the hospitality industry and is
interested in learning much more about accounting for small businesses and
aspects of financial planning.
